In my other life...

... I live in Palm Springs. Mr B and I did a road trip this past President's Day long weekend and fell in love with life in the desert. What's not to love? Especially the mid-century modern architecture. There was literally street after street of dream homes to choose from - a lot of them for sale. Here are a few of our favourites...

My sweet Valentine...

OK, I know it's not technically Valentine's Day yet - but my lovely Mr B has already bought me something. You like? I have been looking at these screen prints from Ork Posters for ages and just hadn't got around to buying one. It is joining my ever-growing collection of 'reminders of San Francisco to take back to Australia'. I sense this collection is going to get much larger since the plan isn't to return to my homeland for at least another 18 months. Let's not talk about the furniture we're collecting... that's a whole other blog post.
